Terms of Play

1. The game

Robot in Jail is a game made by Tilanka Dahanayake, publishing as Colombo Dreams, Sri Lanka. Its towns, laws and cases are fiction. Nothing in it is legal or financial advice. JEY, copper and the JEY Bank are play tokens only. They cannot be bought, sold, traded between players or cashed out, and the bank’s savings and loans are not real financial services.

2. Who can play

You must be 13 or older. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, ask a parent or guardian before you play. Players under 16 need a parent or guardian to agree before using cloud save or showing their robot name.

3. Your robot name

Pick a kind, safe name. Do not use your real name, contact details or anything offensive or misleading. We may change or remove a name that breaks this rule.

4. Fair play

Play kindly. Do not cheat, attack or overload the service, or try to reach other players' data. We may remove scores or towns that break these terms.

5. Free to play, and Remove Ads

The whole game is free. The only purchase is Remove Ads, a one-time purchase shown with its real price before you pay. It removes break ads only; it gives no advantage in the game. Payments are handled by Google Play or Paddle under their terms, and refunds follow their refund policies and any rights you have under your local consumer law. If a purchase is refunded, Remove Ads is switched off again.

6. Your data

See the Privacy Policy. You can download or delete your cloud data at any time.

7. The service

We work hard to keep the game and your cloud save safe and running, but we provide it "as is" and cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Keep your recovery code private: anyone with it can open your cloud town, and without it we cannot identify your town, because we store no email. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will ask you to agree again in the game.

9. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. If you live in another country, you keep every consumer right your local law gives you. Contact: [email protected].
