Robot in Jail › About
Build a life. Face the consequences.

Robot in Jail is a cosy isometric game about a town of robots, and about the rules that let them live together. You build, you trade, and you decide the hard cases. Then you live with what you decided.

What you do
- Build a town. Mines dig copper, Markets earn JEY, Homes bring more builders. Where you build matters.
- Settle cases. A fence on your land, a lost crate, a loan with tiny print. Every choice has a cost and a reward, and teaches a law.
- Pass laws. Your Council turns lessons into rules. Each law helps in one way and costs in another.
- Free the robot in the Yard. A fair, trusted town earns a pardon for the robot waiting in jail, and opens a new district.
- Come back to find out. The Postbot brings letters about yesterday’s choices, and the Sun-Gear mystery goes on one chapter a day.
- Race other towns. A weekly Town League from Tin to Diamond.

Who it is for
Anyone aged 13 and over who likes cosy building games and stories that make you think. It is free to play in the browser, with no download and no account needed. Teachers can use it to start talks about fairness and justice: see Robot in Jail for teachers.
What it is not
It is fiction, not legal advice. Laws differ from country to country, so the game teaches ideas, not one country’s rules.
